A micro wedding at the quaint Historic Rose Hotel in Elizabethtown, Illinois

Rainy days can often times give us the most beautiful cloudy skies and a great breeze. This February micro wedding was blessed with all of the above for this sweet couple. When eloping at the Historic Rose Hotel they have beautiful options like shooting on their large front porch to avoid the rain. They have a gorgeous fireplace inside as well for everyone to cozy up to while saying I Do. This couple was able to take advantage of all of the beautiful scenery on the bluffs just before the rain came and then utilized the gorgeous hotel setting so well. So thankful to have these couples who trust us on making their weddings special. Just because you choose to have an intimate and smaller day doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be just as meaningful and beautiful.
