Elope Bell Smith Springs in Southern Illinois

When Natalie & Jonny first reached out to me she told me they would be traveling south to have a ceremony in the Shawnee National Forest. She said they didn’t care to have anything very traditional except a few items. Her dad would walk her down the aisle and they would jump over a broom in honor of her grandmother. They would say vows to one another with their children & close family present & exchange rings. However, they wanted to hike all day and take photos in the beautiful Southern Illinois beforehand. We started the day at Bell Smith Springs and then went on to Garden of the Gods followed by a sweet little air bnb to say their vows in the back yard. Because it was Cinco de Mayo they of course had to have tacos & margaritas with a piñata to follow. What a wonderful day together and I will always love exploring Southern Illinois with our new friends!
